Standard scope of the Serie M/

The basic version of the Serie M/ provides your users and content administrators with comprehensive spell checking and hyphenation. Errors are detected and displayed directly in the browser-based WYSIWYG editor. Additional exception tables and customer-specific blacklists can also be configured in the M/Workbench. The spell checker and hyphenation are available for a wide range of languages.

Language Assistant Basic

The Language Assistant Basic package provides you with the basic tools you need for content excellence in your customer communications.

The grammar check is based on the basic version of the well-known writing assistant LanguageTool with 6,000 stored rules. The language test Basic, on the other hand, comes from semantics and offers basic checks such as blacklisting or whitelisting and simple readability indices.

Language Assistant Basic with the TextLab and LanguageTool Premium extensions

You can also add two extensions to Language Assistant Basic. These features are not dependent on each other, so they can also be purchased separately. If you work with your own corporate language or detailed language rules (style guide), we definitely recommend the TextLab extension as well.

Extension TextLab

The TextLab extension offers you everything you need from language checking software to make your texts sound perfect while automatically implementing your corporate language. This means that your language guidelines are integrated into the system without any media discontinuity and can also be easily applied in administrative work. It therefore has a broad impact, regardless of who is communicating and how familiar they are with the corporate language.

With the TextLab extension, you can implement your corporate language using sophisticated software. This enables your employees to automatically apply your company’s language rules on a daily basis. And with the help of a proprietary metric, the Corporate Language Index CLIX, you can transparently measure how well your corporate language is already being implemented. In every document.

To ensure that you always strike the right tone with your customers, TextLab also checks the tone and language style of your texts and whether they fit your brand. Is the text more positive, neutral, or even negative in tone? Is the choice of words conservative, rational, innovative, or emotional?
