Guide Share Europe, GSE for short, is a European user group for IBM hardware and software. More than 1300 companies are organized in it, which use IBM systems or products in the field of information technology.

GSE supports its members in the exchange of experience and information and offers them opportunities for further education and for influencing IBM’s product policy. Every year, it organizes an annual conference lasting several days, as well as other events on special topics, in which we participate and occasionally contribute with presentations, especially when it comes to the topic of mass printing and digitalization.

PDF Association

The PDF Association develops open standardized electronic file formats based on PDF. The association provides opportunities for education, development and experience sharing for various stakeholders worldwide.

As a software manufacturer of CCM solutions, PDF plays an important role for us as both an input and output format.

Binding standardization by ISO bodies creates internationally valid, valid table PDF standards – and qualifies documents for global use.
Wide range of functions – uniform basic format that can always be displayed with the standard viewer.
The standard is mature, and the market has considerable human and technical resources available to implement PDF projects.

That is why we support and promote the PDF Association with our membership. Our PDF output renderer includes the formats PDF, PDF/A, PDF/UA and PDF/VT.

For the relatively new PDF/VT format for mass printing, we have developed an application specification together with a customer and the printer manufacturer Canon, which is now in productive use.
