Quadient has discontinued DOPiX
Support will end in 2026. As an affected company, you only have a few years left to reorganize your future customer communications. As a DOPiX user or Quadient customer, you basically have three options:
- Replace your DOPiX software with minimal migration effort and at the lowest possible cost, and your CCM solution will continue to run as before.
- Replace your DOPiX software, but also take advantage of the opportunity to optimize the resources and, if necessary, the surrounding processes of your customer communication managements during the migration and create a modern CCM solution – for output management and customer communication of the future.
- A third option would be to wait for the announced DOPiX successor product, which is still in development at the newly founded iconCXM GmbH. However, this means foregoing any planning security, as it is not possible to evaluate, test, or compare a product that does not (yet) exist. 1. Engine replacement: future-proof minimal migration of the text system
By “engine replacement,” we mean replacing the DOPiX solution while retaining all upstream and downstream processes and migrating existing resources on a 1:1 basis.
This type of minimal migration involves significantly less cost and effort than migrating the entire customer communication management system (including output management and optimization of resources and environmental processes). This is because you only need to integrate the “new engine,” the new text system that replaces DOPiX, into the existing environment.
