kwsoft® focuses on continuity and customer centricity

kwsoft® is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year. Since 1980, the company has stood for professional customer communication management (CCM) based on state-of-the-art technology and for reliable, customer-centric corporate management.

“We focus on long-term customer relationships spanning decades and a correspondingly high level of customer proximity – doing so now in our second generation. We don’t think in terms of exit cycles, but invest continuously and long-term in our solutions and in our relationships with customers and partners. We want to grow sustainably,” explains Klaus Ganter, one of three managing directors of kwsoft®, who are all also shareholders. This approach will not change in the future, as it is a key factor in the continued success of kwsoft®.

The market for CCM software, on the other hand, has been undergoing consolidation for years. Examples include the takeover of icon Systemhaus GmbH and the discontinuation of its DOPiX software a few years ago. This year, everyone was talking about the investment by international private equity firm Cinven in Smart Communications. “We see a trend here. Established CCM software providers are increasingly changing hands, pursuing exit strategies, or prioritizing the interests of investors. That’s not our approach,” emphasizes Ganter.

Matthias Abel, also managing director of kwsoft® and one of the second-generation shareholders, adds: “Our goal is not maximum returns for investors, but maximum benefit for our customers. We make decisions based on their requirements and current IT or market trends – not with an eye on company valuations. This has enabled us not only to survive in the market in the long term, but also to be more successful than ever before in our 45-year history – in the German-speaking region and long beyond.”
