ivv, Informationsverarbeitung für Versicherungen GmbH, is the IT service provider for public insurance companies. A team of about 370 employees supports about 8,000 users on the customer side.TaskUnification of all text systems – the previous technology was no longer viable. Replacement of Isis Papyrus, ASF, i-Text and Word. Implement current requirements: Integration with new Java architecture, better customer service, higher operational reliability, more economic benefits.

The modules M/TEXT CS, M/OMS and M/Workbench were implemented, the printing line and other resources were connected via interfaces. After 6 months of project duration, the production rollout for 8,000 users took place without “mass training”, as the system was largely self-explanatory. Outlook: create additional input channels for OMS and PDF for the Web.
